Book Signing

Two popular authors from Appalachian will appear at BookNotes bookstore, located in the Town and Country Shopping Center in Pikeville, Kentucky, on Saturday, July 17 th, from 1-3 pm for a special book signing.

Michael Knost is Bram Stoker award-winning author, editor and columnist of horror, science fiction, fantasy, and spernatural thrillers.  He has written several books in various genres and helmed anthologies, such as the best selling Legends of the Mountain State series.  His Writers Workshop of Horror recently won the Black Quill Award and the Bram Stoker Award for superior achievement in non fiction.  Other winners of this prestigious award has included Stepen King.  He has also served as ghost writer for several projects, including association with Discovery Channel and Lionsgate Media.  He is currently working on a book about the Mothman, slated for release later this year.  You can visit Michael Knost's website at www.MichaelKnost.com

Kyle Lovern is a UFO writer and researcher who authored Appalachian Case Study:  UFO Sightings, Alien Encounters and Unexplained Phenomena, Volumes 1 & 2.  His next book will include possible alien abductions in the Appalachian Mountains.  Lovern has received national attention for his work and has been on several readio and internet pod-cast programs, including the syndicated late night talk show Coast to Coast AM with George Noory.  He has also been on Eye to Eye and The Jeff Rense Program, both internet programs.
